This is just great, sounds like old Amorphise or somthing, I just wish that there were some vocals,

Awsome Track

The only thing that bugged me though was that telephone ringing sounding lead lick that keeps repeating, Had it been recorded with a real guitar it would have been that much better,
The strength of the mix though is just great, the synths were perfect and the levels were all sounding really good. overall I wouldn't call it Metal but its definatly NEWGROUNDS materiel,

And yes, it will be recorded on a real guitar - after all, this is where this track started. Both guitars and bass, as well as possibly some vocals, will be recorded by me.
And about the it being metal, I stopped caring about genres a long time ago. I put it here since I thought the target group of this category might like it.

volumes are dipping everywhere

Its a cool track dude but over all it sounds real fake, can you play for real? if so I would record at least real guitars, it makes all the difference, to you know how to use envelope editing? it will dramaticly help you deal with those volume raises and decreases. anyways, its still really cool,

Yeah It's all just done with FL studio 8. I'm a noob and I notice the volumes changing all the time but im not sure what to do about that. The drums suffice I guess but everything else sounds like fakey crap. I don't know about the solo, but I could play all of this as I 'wrote' it all on a guitar. I need a descent program and a microphone for making more real music. Thanks alot for the review. I shall check out your song now.

if your going to record metal....

Please learn to play guitar because this is an aswome little number but the VST guitar kills me. the drums sound to ''fake'' use an open hi hat to avoid that polka beat you have going on most of the time. dont knwo what else to say, Ill give you a high score cause its not techno, I would love to hear you go more nuts. I will check you other stuff.

It sounds like it could be a track from the ST-Anger demos if that means anything to you, (thats kind of a good thing, it just needs some focus. after around 1:50 its changed and got interesting, trust me, Im one to write epic instrumentles but after some harsh feed back of the same nature I dicided that its time to stop boring non-musicians and do some vocals (they just do not get instrumentals or have the attentions span or something,) Anyways this is a cool song and I hope my review helped, I know how fun it is to have someone critic your work, so I hope you do the same with mine, the link is below. your song has alot of potential, keep it up and dip your toes into some vocals, trust me, its scary at first but well worth, so far no one has made fun of my vocal attempts on my new song. everyone is nice around here.

Well, now we've got ourselves a critic here. :D St. Anger really? I actually kind've like that album, so I'm taking that as a compliment! Lol and considering what you were saying about long intrumentals, I understand what you mean. I could easily make an 11 minute song iwth a whole BUNCH of stuff in it.

Although what the crummy masses want are non-epic instrumentals, so I understand you, and we're on the same page. I've been doing some vocals, but I bother everyone in the house when I do that, so that'll have to be at certain times.

I'll criticize your work for sure, but I do best with metal, then rock, and honestly, I'm not that good in other genres, so I'll give it my best shot. ^_^

I feel like your in a small appartment and dont want to yell to loud, I deal with that all the time, A good trick is to sing with slight distortion, oh wait your song just got sick heavy... know its back to the punky thing, wow dude the heavy stuff was killer you should go with that more offten, oh yeah, sing with some distortion youll sound more edgy and less whispery if that makes sense, your back up vocal sound great cause they have that disstortion Im talking about but its the main vocal track that lacks balls. great song though keep it up.

The guitars sound weak, are you recording directly into your pc or do you mic your amp? the strings are a bit to loud in the mix and take away the heavy chunkyness,
overall its still a cool piece, your riffs are great and the drums are smooth,

I don't agree that the guitar sound is weak! Maybe the strings are a bit too loud but everything else is OK, in my opinion. Your speakers are case maybe, and I heard your guitar recording too (is that how I should record mine)!? :)

Your arangements are very intense. Good song, It's a shame that you have to synth it all the way because if this was done with real instruments it be kick ass.
